The death of Harrys brother throws them together. On her 18th birthday she proclaims her love for Harry. Marys father disowns her and throws her out pregnant, penniless and destitute. Marys Boys, is a story of love, heroism, loyalty and comradeship, during the very difficult years leading up to and including WWI.

Sandra Shakespeare was born in a 2-bed council house in Wolverhampton, England, in June 1946. She was educated at a Secondary Modern Girls school and left without any qualifications at 14½ years of age.
A rebel of the 1960’s.
This is her first novel with 2 more in the pipeline to complete the trilogy.
She now lives in a small village in Staffordshire and owns a Longere (a long building) in Brittany, France, that has been painstakingly renovated over a 10 year period, where she now relaxes and writes.
