Autoren-Porträt von Hae-Geon Lee
Hae-Geon Lee received his B.E. degree from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, 1970 in Metallurgical Engineering; and Ph. D. from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, 1983 in Materials Engineering. Professor Lee's academic career began at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 1988. After serving for about 10 years, he moved to POSTECH in 1997, and has served as a professor of Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Dean of Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology, and Director of Technology Innovation for Metals and Materials. He is currently a professor of Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology where he leads Clean Steel Technology. Professor Lee is currently devoting himself to developing a new innovative process of steelmaking and understanding atomistic principles of interfacial reactions between ionic and non-polar immiscible liquids at high temperatures.
