Autoren-Porträt von Michael Nevins
Dr. Michael Nevins practiced internal medicine and cardiology in northern New Jersey for nearly four decades and currently is Medical Director of Long Term Care at Bergen Regional Medical Center. He frequently lectures and writes on subjects related ti medical history, recent books including Jewish Medicine. What It Is and Why It Matters (2006), A Tale of Two "Villages": Vineland and Skillman, NJ (2009) and Abraham Flexner: A Flawed American Icon (2010.)Dr. Nevins currently is vice-president of the Medical History Society of New Jersey and in 2010 received that organization's David L. Cowan Award in recognition of his activities in the field of medical history.
