Mifogennaya lyubov' kast (ePub)

It can be said without any exaggeration that the novel "The Mythogenic Love of the Castes" by Sergei Anufriev and Pavel Pepperstein, which was published on the border of the nineties and zero years, revolutionized Russian-language prose and became a cult (if not "cult") text of several generations. The novel caused literally a flurry of various reviews and printed reviews, from the most enthusiastic to the extremely angry and dismissive. The authors were called both "Russian Tolkiens" and "Russian Burroughs". Some critics have argued that this novel is a mass of uncontrollable delirium, others that it is the greatest work, which is a new "War and Peace" on the verge of two millennia. The novel really managed to become a model of "mythogenicity" - you can't count the rumors and legends that roam around this epic. Hundreds of texts have been written about the novel, from comic sketches to deep philosophical treatises. Now, after more than twenty years since its birth, the novel, on the one hand, has long been a classic, on the other hand, continues to provoke fierce disputes and discussions. But most agree: if Russia ever has its own Hollywood, "Mythogenic cast love" will become an analogue of such universes as the universe of "DC", "Marvel" and "Game of Thrones".
