If I changed some things, I would truly miss, I believe, the lessons learned, experiences, and the many blessings I received by doing what God said instead of what man said. In my seventy-some years of living, Ive had many trials and tribulations, but through it all, I made it through by the grace of God. Ive heard that saying many times, but God has let me live long enough to witness that it is a reality. By nature, I wasnt supposed to be here, but because of Gods divine intervention, I am alive and well.

Rev. Jean L. Gatewood-Harding is a Pastor’s Assistant at St. Paul AME Church. Rev. Harding is the daughter of the late Rev. Damon and Mrs. Willie Ann Jones. She was born and raised with her family in Alton, Illinois.Her professional career includes Executive Regional Trainer at Carson’s (Chicago, Illinois), Professional Pink Cadillac Mary Kay Cosmetic Director, and Ordained Local Elder, serving as Pastor’s Assistant to Pastor Booker at St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
She is a graduate of Metropolitan Christian Bible Institute Advantage College with an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Theology.
Rev. Harding is a member of the Tri-Del (NACWC) for over fifty-five years and is a Lifetime Honored Member of the Biltmore Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry Professional.
She is a Professional Singer, doing solos and ensemble groups including Jones Sisters Gospel Ensemble, the Allen Singers of Alton, Illinois, James Cleveland Workshop, and many others.
