Two ranchers are found murdered on a ranch in a remote area in Southern Arizona. Their bodies are discovered by Jake French, a low-key cowboy who works on one of the ranches. The array of ranch owners, employees and local characters, in addition to Jake's mysterious background, complicate the job for Sheriff Wayne Rogers to solve this double murder. Murder at the Joshua Tree is a complicated search for answers that throws law enforcement into a long pursuit to catch the people responsible for the murders, and ultimately decipher the mystery.
Ron has served as Director and Board Chairman of The Indiana Trail Riders Association for several years. He has worked on ranches and boarding stables in his retirement years.
This is Ron's second book. His first book Campfire Tales and Other Adventures is a collection of some sixty humorous stories. All events actually happened. Ron has always felt that life is an adventure. "But you must seek it out yourself. No one will hand it to you on a silver platter."
