The book "Naked Thoughts" is a compilation of vignettes, written in real time, of my experiences as I observe the world while bypassing that filter between my thoughts and what spills onto the page. There is an air of nihilism and abstraction about them. An air of a wandering mind that is cynical, introspective, and observant. An air of humor in the knowledge that the world is a comedy, if not the laugh out loud kind. When the series is completed it will include a dramatic photograph reenacting scene for each Naked Thought mirroring its tone and mood. I am sharing these vignettes in volumes of 10 with you to keep me inspired and to keep my feet moving and the wheels turning.

This book is not meant to be read in one sitting, though you certainly can. Instead, read and absorb when you need a moment of escape. You'll be surprised at the moments you find profound. When you're done, let me know your thoughts. Let the world know!

I'm Jason. An artist, a photographer, a writer with a few gems to share. Sometimes I have a brilliant idea and with a little polishing I can send it straight to the shelf. Other times I have a diamond buried in feces wrapped in a paper bag and all I have to get it out is a lighter.

Growing up I couldn't write in a journal without making shit up and I decided to stop trying. The world is real enough for my taste. Still, it took me quite a while to acknowledge the drive to share stories with little squiggly lines on paper.

My imagination is kinda wild and violent and I'm a bit of an a$ho|e and I feel it'd be disingenuous to filter those bits of me the way I do in real life.

My NakedThoughts will probably offend you…and put a smile on your face.

My Dream Daggers will make you think I land closer to psychopathic than not on those personality tests. There's probably truth in that.

I'm writing this giant epic fantasy book and you get to be my sounding wall. I've played tennis with a wall before, though, I hope you'll enjoy it more than the wall had.
