Dr. Andrea Harmer is currently Chair of the Library Science & Instructional Technology Department at Kutztown University. She is also part time Director of Online Instruction and Educational Outreach in Lehigh University's Materials Science & Engineering Department, where she has interacted with many scientists from all disciplines over the past thirty five years. Professor Harmer currently lives in Pennsylvania, but loves to spend her weekends in NJ with her husband, Martin, and of course, their dog Bandit, who is the inspiration for Buckydog, the hero of both her children's books. She is an avid sports fisherwoman and of course, loves to read!
