Werner Picard wurde 1941 in Offenbach am Main geboren, katholisch erzogen, und lebt mit seiner Familie in der Nähe von Frankfurt/Main. Er war dreißig Jahre lang Bibliothekar an der Universitätsbibliothek Darmstadt.Werner Picard was born in 1941 in Offenbach am Main, Germany. He was raised as a Catholic, and he lives with his family near Frankfurt am Main. For thirty years he was a librarian at the Darmstadt University Library.
