Fernanda Castillo Najera was born in Mexico City. Raised in a family of diplomats, she lived her early teenage years in San Francisco, California, when her father was assigned to work at the Mexican Consulate. She studied junior high school and later went back to her natal Mexico, where she currently resides working as a translator for a dubbing services company and as an official translator as well.This novel was written while she went through a rough time in her life and used it as a way to vent her feelings, but her true passion has always been painting.
