Lee Fruechtenicht grew up in Indiana and studied English literature at Indiana University, Bloomington. Growing restless for city life he moved to Seattle Washington working various professional jobs in the exploding tech industry and was involved with the growing music scene of the times, where he sang for a local punk band. Finding himself in and out of the judicial system, Lee left Seattle after fifteen years. And moved to Wilmington, North Carolina to regroup. He established a local business he then sold and moved to Santa Monica, California where he lived a life of sobriety. He went back to school to study screenwriting, and once again got involved with music, playing in a local band.
