Scott R. Stahlecker earned a bachelor of arts in religion in 1986, and with his wife, founded Circle of Life Hospice in Texas. The couple also owned several music stores in Alaska. As a musician, he has recorded two personal CDs, Rainforest Dance and a self-titled debut. He is also the author of Blind Guides and lives in the Pacific Northwest.
