Nicholas P. Lovrich is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Division of Governmental Studies and Services at Washington State University. His research interests include the area of citizen participation in environmental policy processes, and his current writing on environmental politics in Japan and the United States stems from a grant from the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission (administered by the Institute of International Education).
