Marlene S. Neill, PhD, APR, is an assistant professor at Baylor University. She has published 14 journal articles. Neill is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America. She has served as the chair for the Southwest District of PRSA; a member of the Universal Accreditation Board; and member of the Board of Ethics & Professionals Standards. She received her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, Master of Arts from the University of Missouri at Columbia, and Bachelor of Science from the University of Kansas. Neill worked for almost 12 years in government and nonprofit public relations.Amy Oliver Barnes, APR, After working as a broadcast journalist, Barnes worked as public relations director at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, then executive director of communications at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She received her master’s in journalism from UALR and later joined their faculty. Barnes is an accredited public relations professional and has served on the executive board of the Arkansas Chapter of PRSA including chapter president in 2003, chair of the Southwest District of PRSA, a member of the PRSA National Nominating Committee, and chair of the PRSA National Research Task Force.
