Born in Nigeria, Romanus Gabriel developed the love for reading when he was a little boy. He used to believe that novel stories were true life tales until he read Sylvester Stallone's biography. It had then occurred to him that he could write his own stories, at least, to entertain his younger brother and friends.
Romanus had, some years ago, submitted an entry in a BBC International Radio Playwriting Competition, did not emerge first prize winner but he did receive a participant's certificate.
A versatile author, Romanus has cartons of manuscript drafts under his bed. Quiet Storm is his first novel to be published.
