He obtained the First Prize of science and technology progress of Heilongjing Province in 2019, and the Second Prize of science and technology progress of Ministry of Education in 2019. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Research Award and the Delta Young Scholar Award from the Delta Environmental and Educational Foundation in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He has been supported by the National Natural Science of China for Excellent Young Scholars. He published a book named "Position Sensorless Control Techniques for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine Drives" in Springer in 2019.
Nannan Zhao (S'18-M'19) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in control science and engineering in 2013 and 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2019, all from Harbin Institute of Technology. Currently he is a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology. He has authored more than 25 technique papers (14 IEEE Transactions papers) in the field of AC motor drives. His current research interests include advanced control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drives and position sensor-less control of ac motors. He is an IEEE member and supported by Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program of China in 2019. He is nominated for the young engineer award of PCIM Asia 2020, and serves as the special session chair of reduced dc-link capacitance motor drives in IPEMC 2020.
