Hayden Johnson, the new Ambassador to Argonia has to attend his mum's old school where everyone loves him. All he notices is the shy girl with the violet eyes who talks to nobody, but who can run like the wind. He tries for six months to talk her and have her respond but he receives nothing.
Coming back to school after summer holidays, Eileenia is determined to talk to Hayden, to respond to the one person who smiles at her every day. Complications arise from such a simple feat that neither of them are ready to face.
They don't see the threatening presence lurking in either world until it's too late. With the truth revealed, could everything fall apart?
When he knows about her talent and shows some of his own, should she run and hide or stay and endure? What possible mysteries could keep them from each other?
She lives on the Central Coast of Eastern Australia (so now her odd spelling might make sense) with her husband, her cat and her husband's collection of pythons (now around twenty).
