Autoren-Porträt von Christopher Lamont
Dr. Christopher Lamont is Assistant Professor of International Relations in the Department of International Relations and International Organization at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He is also co-Chair of Research in Ethics and Globalisation within the Globalisation Studies Groningen institute. He has taught a number of research methods classes in International Relations, including Methodologies in International Relations, Methodologies and Research Practice, Research Methods in History and International Relations and Research Methods for Area Studies. Previously, Dr. Lamont was a RCUK postdoctoral research fellow in the Transitional Justice Institute at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland and a Fulbright fellow at the University of Zagreb in Croatia. He holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in International Studies from the University of Mississippi. His research interests include human rights and transitional justice, and his current research focuses on transitional justice in the Middle East and North Africa with a particular focus on Libya and Tunisia. He has published widely on the subject, including his monograph, International Criminal Justice and the Politics of Compliance (Ashgate, 2010), numerous peer reviewed journal articles and contributionsto edited volumes.
