By analysing the way in which witnesses narrated revolutionary events, it elucidates the reminiscences of memoirs in the narrative historiography of the 19th century. It contributes to our understanding of the relation between politics and history, witnesses and historians, Revolution and Restoration in the aftermath of 1789.
Autoren-Porträt von Anna Karla
Dr. Anna Karla promovierte an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin und an der École des hautes études en sciences sociales. Sie war Stipendiatin am Deutschen Historischen Institut Paris und ist derzeit Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Historischen Institut der Universität zu Köln.
