Strange things are happening on the planet Prosperine.

Hickory and her team are ordered to find the weapon and bring it back. To succeed, they first need to avoid becoming dinner for a telepathic monster. Then they must cross the Erlachi mountains, overcoming many dangers, before reaching Sequana's stronghold.
