He studies power sharing in deeply divided societies, Middle East Politics, and mobilization, memory and trauma. His work has been published in Nations and Nationalism, the Arab Studies Quarterly, the Journal of Muslim Minority, the Journal of Borderland Studies, and the Royal United Service Institute Journal.
