I want to share a few thoughts regarding the purposes of my writings. You notice the plural form of “purpose”. Of course, in order to entice readers, you need a good storyline and the ability to share that storyline in a captivating style. This is a common challenge for all writers and is definitely one of my goals/purposes.
My other purpose is that I want my writings to impact the reader. I want to compel the readers to make their lives and the lives of those they touch better. In so doing, the end result is to make our world a better place to live.
Although I have listed these purposes in an order, they actually co-exist equally. The challenge is not to sacrifice one for the sake of the other.
