Even today, quantum computing is still at a developing stage. The feature of this book is from introduction to deeply investigated research results. Therefore, the contents are fully satisfied with the authors' earnest will to transfer their concepts to the readers.
Concretely speaking, the book is a simplified version of the classical quantum basic gate theory like Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm, Deutsch algorithm, Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm, Grover search algorithm, Simon algorithm, etc. with applications in the cryptography and coding theory. It reflects the actual status of research in these topics and at the same time it started from the beginning. The beginners can start to study these topics and the experts could find some new results.
This book will compliment any standard textbook in quantum computing. With a simplified presentation, this book is suitable for both experts and beginners, helping researchers take their studies to the next level.
Key Features
. Focuses on the fundamental concepts of quantum computing from the beginning.
. Examines the extraordinary connection between the Boolean algebra and quantum-gated computing.
. Presents the new applications in quantum computing.
. Compliments any standard textbook in quantum computing.
. Provides a simplified presentation suitable for both experts and beginners
Do Ngoc Diep, a professor at Thang Long Institute of Mathematics and Applied Sciences, Thang Long University.
His main field of research: Methods of Noncommutative Geometry for Group C*-algebras, KK-functor invariants of group C*-algebras and quantum groups, Multidimensional quantization and Quantum computing, Quantum Neural Networks.
He has published more than 80 research papers and a number of monograph and books.
Ahmed Farouk is assistant professor at South Valley University. He is one of the Top 20 technical co-founders of the Quantum Machine Learning Program by Creative Destruction Lab at the University of Toronto. He published over 80 papers in reputed and high impact journals like IEEE Internet of Things, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Nature Scientific Reports and Physical Review A. The exceptional quality of his research is recognized nationally and internationally. He selected by the scientific review panel of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings to participate in the 70th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. Recently, he appointed as an associate editor for the IEEE
Tadao Nakamura is a Professor Emeritus of Tohoku University, and also a Professor (as a visiting status) of Keio University. In 2007 he was induced as a Professorial Fellow at Imperial College London. His research interests are toward computer systems and quantum computing, especially with quantum-gated computers in terms of today's electronic computers. In 2004 he received the IEEE Computer Society's Taylor L. Booth Award. He has been Steering Committee Chair, after Organizing Committee Chair and Advisory Committee Chair, of COOL Chips conference series fully sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society. He is Life Fellow of the IEEE.
