But then, disaster strikes, forcing him to abandon his dream and return to his family in Canada.

From humble beginnings in Trinidad, Frank Maraj dreamed of going to high school. Having achieved that goal, he began teaching for fifteen dollars per month. In 1967, new dreams took him to study in Canada; new challenges threatened. Now retired, Frank still resides in Fort Frances with his wife, Diana.
