A safe house is blown; an agent is dead. Sent to a quiet corner of Northern Iraq to redeem herself, Spark teams up with CIA operative, Jake D'Souza, and tracks down one of the men behind the London attacks. Their investigations lead Spark into a web of terror at the centre of which lies Major General Ali Hussein Hashemi, the charismatic Commanding Officer of Iran's external espionage apparatus. Hashemi has gone rogue and is the mastermind behind a criminal organization bent on destabilizing the West and redrawing the religious map of the Middle East. His messianic desire is to restore the Shia to their rightful place at the head of the Muslim world. Spark must now engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the General as she tries to thwart his plot to detonate a terrorist bomb which will cause many hundreds of thousands of people to die.
