He teaches on the MA in Magazine Journalism, the MBA in Media Management and the BA in Journalism and Communications. He is co-author (with Mottershead, G. G. and Hadwin, S. B.) of The 21st Century Journalism Handbook: Essential Skills for the Modern Journalist (Routledge, 2012), and editor of Mapping the Magazine: Comparative Studies In Magazine Journalism (Routledge, 2008).
