Author Jacquelyn D. Golden, Ph.D. encourages all who may be sick to avoid looking futuristically to "getting healed," but rather, "be healed" now because we are already. She urges all to understand that Jesus Christ died for everything that ails us now and the things that will attack us over time. Jackie believes that Jesus Christ is the prescription for our pain! She claims that while the enemy sends invitations of illness, troubles, and hardships through symptoms, we don't have to accept these offers that come in the form of physical, mental, or emotional disease - "if sickness can come, it can certainly go!"

Jackie Golden reminds me of something I know, but am many times "timid" to repeat to non-believers... that God heals. GOD HEALS! Jackie you've given me a precious gift. Not a theological treatise on healing, not an exegesis of scriptures about healing - though there are plenty of wonderful and affirming scriptures to remind us of God's will to heal us. What you've given that's so precious is your own testimony of how God healed you. It's one thing to ponder these things when one is well - to hash and rehash the many human opinions on this controversial topic. But when the storm hits, it is a blessing to have Jackie's first-hand testimony of the power of the Almighty to actually heal and restore that which He has created.
