Ten Cents a Dance takes us on a hunt for an obsessed serial killer with a strange biblical fascination. Homicide Detective, Johnny Vero, travels to France & workds with Interpol to hunt this serial killer that targets dance hall girls who charge ten cents for a 3 minute dance. The story takes a bizarre turn when it is discovered they are murdered in the Budapest Hotel in certain room numbers which have biblial meanings to the killer.
Early on, Berri worked various jobs from shining shoes, grocer, butcher, managing a national five and dime store to owning a lunch truck. At eighteen, he became licensed as a Real Estate sales person and insurance agent.
Berri married his high school sweetheart, Louisa, and together, raised their children.
Getting a new start, Berri turned a one-man business into a successful contract janitorial service employing over 100 individuals. Berri sold his business relocating to Florida and graduated Columbia State University with an online degree. He became a banking specialist with one of the largest banking institutions in the nation. Retired now, he enjoys writing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Berri has volunteered teaching Junior Achievement in the Florida public school district. In addition, he led a volunteer group for a reading program that included Kindergarten, first and second graders. He has also has done public speaking and has appeared in a few T.V. commercials, including voiceovers.
