My name is Michael D. Hughes I am a former Army Officer. For the past 30 years I have served soldiers and family members on administrative functions, conducted training, counseling soldiers on professional development and problem solving. As the Installation Sports Director my experience in supervision, administration, business management, sports and athletic programming has provided me with a wealth of experience.


What I would like for those readers in this work to get is interaction with people and their views are important to the human condition. Their spiritual experiences with God's journey and certain issues and problems is important related to and about spiritual issues.


I think because we are all in community and involved with each other on a daily bases, it is important to take all views to come to conclusion. Having committed myself to soldiers and family members over the years has given me a different perspective of how to deal with certain issues. I am always open to learn new perspectives of how to solve problems and do it by God's way. To be able to lead and give of myself in a spiritual way is the message I am trying to convey. The cancer journey I have been on the past three years has given me the opportunity to be a positive light to those who are fighting the same challenge. This book is a continuation of that journey and the challenges that I faced.
