Sandra Kennedy was born in a small town in Georgia. Her years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation gave her insight to the world of crime. Her husband Jim, a retired F.B.I. Agent inspired her to write “Drax Stone” her first murder thriller.She is also the author of “The Rainbow Collection”, which contains her years of collected works of poetry.
She was a Special Education Asst. for the Department of Defense in Keflavic Iceland, Exmouth Australia and Quantico, Va. for over ten years. She met her husband in the Bureau and later married. She left headquarters in Washington, D.C. to move to Columbia, S.C. She and her husband owns a chain of schools where she indulges her love for teaching children, painting murals, writing murder mysteries and raising their son Andrew.
