However, she will remain disabled for the rest of her life. The Chrysalis is the first book in Robbie's Journey from where she is like the caterpillar, as she feeds off the goodness of others. Then the chrysalis, where she learns her own worth and abilities, becoming an adult. In the two books following this one, Robbie finally evolves into the beautiful butterfly that she was always meant to be.

Toria Newman lives in New Zealand. She has Cerebral Palsy and lives a different kind of life to others in her community. Despite her disability, Toria has achieved way beyond what others expected, and lives an independent life with her cat, Jeeves, and a growing number of other cats that have adopted her! Toria has published 4 books, and is currently writing another, with plans to publish a few children's books too!
