Michael spends years dealing with the "mountain" of darkness that haunts him, but he hits a breaking point, slips, and finds himself at the precipice of total destruction. Michael must dig deep, find his true self, and summon the strength to move mountains or else his friends, and all of Epotus, could be lost to dark tides churning at the foot of the Dark Mountain.

Reminiscent of Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are and Stephen King's It, The Dark Mountain is a novel about a young boy with a wild imagination that draws a blurry line between reality and imaginary.
