Produktinformationen zu „The Final Message to Rome (ePub)“
Ariel and Anthony are children, orphaned and wandering the catacombs of ancient Rome following the Great Fire of 64 AD. Emperor Nero hates the very people who are the children's salvation: a group of Christians. Ariel and Anthony are amazed by the message of Jesus and are inspired to become Christians themselves. When the children are sold in slavery to the home of a prominent Roman senator, they gain access to a wealth of privileged information. The two risk their lives over and over again to deliver warning messages to their Christian friends. Meanwhile Nero's persecution gains in intensity and brutality: torture, crucifixion, and burnings; he even feeds the faithful to the lions. In the face of extreme danger, both children's fledgling faith is tested, but God has his own mysterious means of delivering a message of hope and resistance.
