more he felt that his explanation would enlighten his friends.
One day, as Bobby the bus driver was listening to yet another
long explanation, he said, Well just call you J.P. and you could
tell people that it stands for Junior Philosopher.
The name stuck and he developed into the character of a junior
philosopher explaining and questioning. When his teachers
appeared to have no faith in his abilities as a student, he had
to ask his grandfather why.

He holds a leadership certificate from Jacksonville State University. He earned his bachelor's degree from Sacred Heart University and his masters from the University of Connecticut.Mr. Dorce is a former coach and Spanish teacher. He is fluent in Spanish, French and Haitian Creole.
