Finding her voice in the world like many others has proved to be some what of a feat. However K.C. Green is a thirty-one year old mother of two amazing daughters, who are twelve and five years old. So as you can guess her work is never done. Married to her husband, together almost nine years they can still manage to find time between all the chaos to just have a good laugh and love. In the past she has worked with small children at the local YMCA for several years and loved her co-workers dearly, but since the pay was severely lacking it was time for a change and quick. K.C. started working with the elderly as a companion/homemaker. Soon discovering that there is much joy to be had in working with so to speak ”grand parents”.

In 2013 K.C. had a severe case of Lyme disease that had taken the doctors over a month to diagnose. This was a very dark time for her and at one point she almost gave up hope, but with lots of prayer the answers would soon become clear. Though the road to recovery would be long and trying K.C.'s faith grew stronger.

Today K.C. helps teach kindergarten and seventh grade bible classes at her childhood church. One of the church directors who got to know her realized there was something special about her and thought that it should be shared. Being given an honor so high only makes K.C. count her blessings everyday and be so extremely thankful for the life she has been given. It is that one day K.C.’s hope to find a softer approach for younger children raising better awareness on the topic of sexual abuse that would allow more comfort.
