Manisha Sobhrajani has been a journalist and researcher. A casualrecreational trip to Kashmir became a ten-year-long association with
its people, especially the women. She now spends her days as a full-
time volunteer with the Samarpan Foundation in the Sunderbans,
West Bengal. The Land I Dream of is her first book.'
