Guy Cooper was born in West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth on January 13, 1975, just after his twin brother, Simon. He grew up in number 2 Cypress Avenue just around the corner from Whitton train station. His first school was Nelson’s School by the Nelson Pub in Whitton High Street. His family moved with him to Wokingham when he was at the age of six, where he attended school until seventeen. He then went on a pilgrimage to see Jackie Pullinger and assist in her crusade against drug addiction in the Walled City of Kowloon.
Guy returned to England several years later and began hatching the idea of The Last Adam. He finished writing the book around 2010 and was looking to have it published then. Sadly, Guy was found dead in the Alps in January of 2012; the cause of his death is still questioned.
