The Memory Man (ePub)

Imagine a world without religion, armies, and borders, with one language.

The following is an account of life on such a planet where the written word did not exist, told through the eyes of one of its 'teachers'; a man destined to spread his DNA throughout the world.

He is gifted with total recall, he can recall, at will everything he has seen, heard and done. It is his duty, and others like him, to pass on this  knowledge to the appropriate persons, scientists, doctors, engineers, farmers and the like, and this is in turn spread around the country, the continents, in fact the whole planet.

But, like all humans, there are people with human frailties such as greed, anger, envy, hate and love apart from other emotions such as desire, sadness and joy. His duties are not only as a teacher but as a keeper of law and order and his duties include crime investigation; for instance, a double murder … for a start…

As a man with valuable DNA he is permanently on call to help propagate the worlds species, especially when he travels overseas … an occasion where he is called upon once again to put his deductive talents to the test and solve the mystery of a strange death, an action that brings him close to an untimely demise.

When he travels overseas his deductive talents are put once more to the test and bring him close to death.
