Al Eden is a retired middle school teacher who still substitutes 3-4 days a week. On the other days, he enjoys hanging out with his six year old grandson, fixing up the house, reading, and writing. Al enjoys being outdoors and he especially likes camping and vacationing to warm destinations with his wife. This is where he does most of his writing and creative thinking.He has always enjoyed sports, and played college basketball while growing up. He took his love of sports and story-telling and relayed this to his four children and six grandchildren, who are all avid readers and sports enthusiasts. Al enjoys reading books to all ages, and has developed a passion for writing stories. Although he is a first time author, he has nearly finished the sequel to The Mystery of the Phantom Ship.
