Produktinformationen zu „The Pond (ePub)“
The Pond is the story of an unconventional love found between two souls who are mature enough to know what real love is. The story of a man and woman who know what feminine freedom and empowerment actually means both to the woman and to the enlightened man she comes to love.
The book is cerebral and contains philosophical views of God, creation, and both sexual and nonsexual nudity in art and life. The story is humorous at times, sometimes thought-provoking, and sometimes dealing with personal trauma.
If you believe two mature people of age can enjoy courtship and love that is just as warm, confusing, and fun as young love and if you believe that a strong, independent, and confident woman—who has lived life enough to know she doesn’t need a man—can find out new things about herself and grow into a woman who can then choose to allow a supportive and caring man into her life, this book is a must read for you.

A Short Biography
Zum was born in California and spent most of his formative years living in Santa Monica. He was introduced to himself as an artist at the age of 10 by a professional artist named Hazel James. Since that time Zum has immersed himself in the study of visual/tactile art both in formal art classes and self-education.
Zum at a rather late age he became a student at a local community College pursuing studies that would enhance his abilities as a fine arts painter and instructor. Zum defines himself as an artist. His artwork has been displayed at the Lancaster Museum of Art, the Antelope Valley Allied Artists Association main gallery; he was an award winner at the Antelope Valley Fair and has been a featured artist at various shows in the Antelope Valley. Zum is a stained-glass master and was commissioned to perform a stained-glass composition to commemorate a well-known corporation’s centennial anniversary. Zum’s abilities as an artist are widely diversified and include writing, stained glass, interior design, sculpting, painting, and drawing.
Zum believes all humans were created in God’s image to be artists. We all are able to express ourselves artistically in one form or another. As an artist Zum explores and expresses the quintessential dimension of mankind and the universe. As a fine arts instructor Zum helps students find talents and ways of expressing themselves his students never knew they had.
Zum also believes just as thought and truth are unlimited, so the artistic expression of those thoughts and truths is unlimited. Sometimes the expression of thought and truth is whimsical, sometimes that expression is profound. He believes we cannot understand physical truth until we understand and give thought to truth’s spiritual dimension. Zum’s greatest joy as an artist is when someone is stimulated to thought and sees truth in one of his works. His ego is not hurt either if they just plain enjoy
