"This book is a straightforward, well-written guide to thestrategies and administration of investment assets of nonprofitinstitutions. It relies on the principles of modern portfoliotheory in emphasizing asset diversification, performancemeasurement, and careful manager selection. It debunks much of whatpasses for 'investment advice' in the popular media. To theircredit, the authors describe the challenges, factors, and actors inthe investment industry, from the perspective of the individualsand committees charged by nonprofit institutions swith investmentoversight responsibility."
