It is stated to be the only authentic example of a beaker-folk artefact found in the upland valley of the Great Ouse. At the time the article was written, the beaker was in the Huntingdon Institution.] 'The Morteyn family in Bedfordshire', by G. Andrews Moriarty [The family are first noted in Bedfordshire in Tilsworth in 1212. Their spread to other parts of the county is recounted and a nine-generation pedigree provided for the period 1212-1429.] 'The shire of Bedford and the earldom of Huntingdon', by G. Herbert Fowler [Twelfth century charters in Latin, with English abstracts, and a table of descent of the earldoms of Northampton and Huntingdon. There is an additional note at the end of the volume.]
'The later descent of Wingate of Harlington', by Jos. Hight Blundell [This account of the Wingate family after the Heralds' visitation traces the family from 1635 to 1770 and has a four-generation pedigree.]
