Scientists have said for decades that most physical illnesses have their roots in emotional disorders. We are no longer talking about theories; We are based on facts, statistics and scientific studies conducted by experts in areas such as neurosciences, psychology, psychiatry, psychophysiology, cognitive sciences, among others. Given this irrefutable evidence, an essential question arises: how can we stop the harmful consequences of our emotional disorders? The answer lies in prevention, and prevention starts with clear, accurate and up-to-date information about how to tame and control our emotions. The indisputable truth is that we need to re-educate ourselves regarding our emotional reactions and behaviors.
We live in an era saturated with stimuli that can trigger emotional and mental imbalances. As time progresses, the reasons for maintaining our emotional and mental coherence become increasingly scarce. We face a multitude of influences every day that affect our physical, mental and spiritual well-being. The growing number of people relying on pharmaceuticals to deal with issues such as insomnia, depression and anxiety is alarming. Physical illnesses originating from mental and psychological disorders are on the rise, while new religious and therapeutic approaches are constantly emerging, proving that people, in good numbers, are trying to find help to escape the toxic effects imposed by our current world.
These numbers reveal a disturbing reality: many people are losing control over their mental, psychological and emotional systems. The trend is an exponential increase in these imbalances in individual health. Given this observation, a truth emerges that needs to be understood: people need to understand the causes behind these disorders and learn to manage them so as not to be at the mercy of chance.
Human health scientists say mental health directly affects physical health. Our emotional, mental and psychological states have the power to impact the cells of our body, a reality confirmed by scientific tests. There is no external factor capable of controlling our mental states, other than ourselves. It is crucial that each individual decides to learn to control their mind, their feelings and their psychological state, otherwise they will become just another negative statistic in the areas of mental and psychological health.
Our work, expressed in the pages of this book, proposes a deep reflection on how we are influenced by our mental and emotional states, and how these states impact our health. We present the importance of managing our emotions, understanding how they work and maintaining control. This knowledge can transform anyone's life, as only they have the necessary power to manage their mental states and, consequently, their emotional states. This book shows how we can cut harmful ties and take control of our feelings and emotions, taking back control of our lives.
