By our definition, a wayfarer is one whose inner compass is ever-oriented to truth, wisdom, healing, and beauty in their own wandering. The Wayfarer's mission as a publication is to foster a community of contemplative voices and provide readers with resources and perspectives that support them in their own journey.

In addition to our signature features, commentary and poetry, in this issue we look towards the Southwest, offering interviews with poet Frank LaRue Owen, award-winning spiritual author Mirabai Starr, and acclaimed conservationist author Stephen Trimble.

Autoren-Porträt

(L.M.) Leslie M. Browning is the Editor-in-chief of The Wayfarer Magazine, a TEDx Talker, and the award-winning author of twelve titles. She grew up in the small fishing village of Stonington, Connecticut. In her writing, Browning explores the confluence of the natural landscape and the interior landscape. She is a convergence of her flannel-clad New England roots and the wide-sky, high-desert of the Southwest. Balancing her passion for writing with her love of learning, Leslie has sat on the Board of the Art's Cafe Mystic. She currently is a member of the Board of Directors for the Independent Book Publisher's Association. She is a graduate of the University of London and a Fellow with the International League of Conservation Writers. She is currently working to complete a degree at Harvard University's Extension School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Visit www.lmbrowning.com
