This is Kas's first children’s book and is based on her personal experience being a donkey owner while building her house in the country.She has also published a craft book entitled Beginners Book to Gourd Craft.
Kas has lived in New South Wales North Coast for over thirty years. And in that time, she has built a mudbrick home, raised donkeys, and owned a macadamia farm. She has also reeducated herself and now works as a youth worker in her local area, working with young people who are homeless or at risk.
Kas has two daughters and two beautiful grandchildren.
