Dr. Monica Knight is an entrepreneur, speaker, facilitator, motivator, teacher, and consultant whose career path has taken her from Europe to India and Africa and finally to Canada, where she a Professor at the Faculty of Management at Vancouver Island University. Monica holds a Ph.D. from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, a Master in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads in Victoria, British Columbia, and a Diploma in Education, Liverpool, United Kingdom. In addition to her role in academia, Monica is a keynote speaker through her firm, Shosholoza! EDUtainment.Dr. Monica Knight leads business educators beyond the myth that entrepreneurs are born, not made. She believes that there is nothing magical about the entrepreneurial mystique. It is a discipline and-like any discipline-can be learned, and can be of value for all facets of life. Monica is a dedicated practitioner of entrepreneurial education who blends knowledge, skills and attitudes to shift others from the traditional "learning about" to "learning by doing."
