The only reason it is in print today, was her desire to pass it on to her children, grandchildren and great grands in a book format and hopefully have others read and enjoy it as well.

So many people read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' to their children every year during the holiday season. She felt inspired by the Lord to take the rhythm of that story/poem and put the Bible story from Luke 2:8-16 into the same format for children. This format hopefully will inspire parents/grandparents to incorporate the Bible story in their Christmas traditions.
