This book, Valiant Warrior: Knight of the Third Crusade, is a historical fiction book about an ancestor of the author, Sir Richard Fowler, who goes on crusade with the Knights Templar, King Richard, and other crusader armies. The author has a keen interest in history and writing historical fiction books, as seen in his first two writings. This book, although not about American history, is timeless, as the author writes about the history of the Holy Lands and the struggles between the Christians and Muslims to control the Levant and Jerusalem, as seen through the eyes of his main character, Sir Richard Fowler.
