Autoren-Porträt von Diana Mayora
Diana Isabel Mayora was born September 15, 1995, in Panama City, Panamá. She is the daughter of Gisela Santamaría and Justo Mayora. She has an older sister called Sofia and a cat, Ramón. She started writing in diaries and notebooks when she was nine years old and published her first book of short stories, Asi de Simple y Otras Complejidades (only in Spanish), in 2013 with Foro/Taller Sagitario Ediciones.
Then spent the last five years (2013-2019) writing short stories, articles and her blog "Versión Urbana" (2013-2015), studying psychology in Santa María la Antigua Catholic University, volunteering for Make A Wish Foundation and tutoring children with learning difficulties.
The last six months of 2018 and first few of 2019 were dedicated to the creation of her new book "Violent Delights", a compilation of poems about "making hard decisions" and being in a toxic relationship in this time.
She expects to continue writing more stories for everyone to read and become inspired. She plans to keep working on the Violent Delights Kingdom, as a platform to give hope and help people on toxic relationships. She is working on her next blog which will be focused on her journey to a more mindful lifestyle and tips to help you become your truest self.
