Her field of expertise is German philosophy of the late 19th century, with a focus on the problems arising from the development of modern sciences. She published studies on Wilhelm von Humboldt, Neo-Kantianism, Oswald Külpe, Wilhelm Wundt, and Richard Avenarius.
